Two years ago, 550,000 Georgians did NOT have health insurance. Today, that total is over 1 MILLION Georgians. Thirteen percent of our population has NO HEALTH INSURANCE! This is a crisis the Legislature must face. I believe the state of Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, Home Depot, and the Centennial Olympic Games, can figure out how to have catastrophic health coverage for all Georgians with sliding scale premiums.”
