Public Education

Any study of Georgia’s public schools reveals a division in the quality of education in the more prosperous counties of northern Metro Atlanta and its suburbs and exurbs. A child in Meriwether County simply does not have the educational opportunities of a child in Forsyth County. It’s not fair and this inequality must be addressed by the Legislature.
